Winter hunt

In order to increase your chance of stalking a caribou and feel safer on the territory during your winter hunt, we recommend the use of a Mirage Outfitter's guide.

Each guide provides his own snowmobile or vehicle. Hunters must use their own vehicle or snowmobile (or rent a snowmobile). We cannot guarantee your hunting success.

We advise you to reserve the service of a guide in advance so as to make sure that a guide will be available during your hunting expedition. The payment for this service is non-refundable and must be made upon reservation. If you need the service of a guide and you wish to rent a snowmobile as well, it is highly recommended to reserve the snowmobile in advance. This policy of reserving beforehand has for aim to let us know the exact number of guides and snowmobiles required in order to meet the demand.

Guide fees are set at :

Upon reservation of your package $125.00  taxes included / hunter / day (minimum group of 4 hunters)

Reservation at lodge during hunt: $225. taxes included / hunter / day ( minimum group of 4 hunters)

Non-clients: $275 taxes included / hunter / day (minimum group of 4 hunters)

Note :

The service of a guide is included in  plane and bus packages for winter hunting (1day) and all of our fall hunting packages (August and September) and summer fishing packages.
